Yajuro Yoshida, swords-smith and originator of the Japanese style tailor shears utilized his sword forging method to create light, strong shears which became the prototype of Japanese style tailor shears produced in Japan.
His skills were then passed down to the blacksmiths who started the brand Shozaburo and they continue to forge high quality tailor and craft shears.
